Job Overview
Wajax Equipment is currently recruiting for a Technical Sales Coordinator who will be responsible for data analysis and interpretation, liaising with a variety of industry specialists and providing fact-based recommendations with a high level of technical acumen.

The successful candidate will have excellent verbal, written and organizational skills and be a self-motivated person that works well in both a team environment as well as individually.

Duties
The Technical Sales Coordinator will be responsible for the following duties:

• Analyze data from the appropriate internal (sales and application engineering) and external (bid requests, mine plans etc.) sources and provide fact-based recommendations.
• Manage technical submittals & proposal writing
• Timely processing and turnaround of quotations and tender documents
• Sales opportunity costing and documentation
• Manage cost control of inventory, attachments
• Domestic & International Logistics coordination
• Assist coordination of sales presentations with a variety of different software
• Work closely with support network including; Engineers, Technicians, Vendors & Suppliers
• Assist in applicable forecasting, budgeting & reporting
• Promote all facets of the business and be versed with full offering of products and services offered by Wajax Equipment

Requirements

**Interested candidate must have a minimum of 5 years relevant mining industry experience in maintenance/planning/procurement/logistics.

• Degree in Mining/Mechanical engineering or related field an asset
• Strong technical aptitude to articulate proposals, provide in-depth expertise and interpret manufacturer supplied software
• Heavy equipment whole goods experience – Knowledge of the construction industry and specific mining equipment. (Parts and after-market experience is not sufficient)
• Strong attention to detail and interpersonal skills
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are a must for success of this position
• Bilingual (French/English) an asset
• Intermediate/Advanced Word, Excel, Power Point, database & estimating software skills
• Ability to work within a team environment
• Aptitude to comfortably multitask and desire to continually grow with an industry leader while meeting tight deadlines
• Availability to travel regularly (sometimes on short notice)
