Development Engineer - Electrochemistry
at Xogen Tehnologies Inc. in Orangeville, ON
Key responsibilities:
• Test plan design, execution and documentation
• Liaison with other research groups and product integrators
• Some traveling may be required
Qualifications:
Required:
• A Master’s degree in Chemical or Materials Engineering (PhD preferable)
• P.Eng in province of Ontario, or qualifications to achieve registration within one year
• 5-10 years industry experience including 3 years in an electrolytic environment
• Strong working knowledge of electrochemistry principles and practice
• Strong organizational and analytical skills
• Strong communication skills, including verbal, written and presentation
• Self-starter, independent worker
• Ability to develop and present clear functional and product specifications
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite of Applications
• Canadian citizenship preferable
Desired knowledge/experience in:
• Electrochemistry and Material Sciences
• Life Cycle Analysis, Electrode Design, Relationships of Oxidative Species
• Microsoft Excel macros (visual basic)
• Working knowledge of wastewater treatment highly desirable
