Dress for Success! We really want you to succeed. Use the following information as guidance only.

For Men
Combination of 1, 2, 3 is fine, if you have a business suit great. Bring resumes in an envelope if you don't have a portfolio case. If you believe you have the competencies, qualification, education, experience you are already 70% doing very well. Next, making that first impression becomes very important in your presentation to connect with companies and to land work.

For Women
Dress, blouse & skirt, blouse & pants or business suits look very professional. Pump shoes, you decide on the height that is comfortable for you. Try to reduce the size of those purses, (an observation: as women get older, the size of the hand bags seem to get bigger, plus they add other bags with the hand bags). A smaller hand bag is good. Try it. You really don't need all that baggage to carry around. Looking for work is already hard.
Please do not go shopping - you are unemployed. Use the clothing you have. For example: a plain top and combination of skirt or pant looks very professional, as in the picutre. These images are only to use for your guidance for the interviews and jobfair. If you believe you have the competencies, qualification, education, experience already, then making that first impression becomes very important in your presentation to connect with companies and to land work.

The image on your left is representative of companies at the Jobfair. The idea of success for the jobseeker is to mirror their looks of professionalism. Some companies have causal dress codes, but the company's representatives appear in public in business attire. The same approach should be for your interviews and appearance in public when looking for work.
Examples of what not to wear

shorts, flip-flops, t-shirts

lots of flowery prints, plastic bags, lots of jewlery

We are supporting you all the way! Good luck with connecting with all the companies at the jobfair.
